Hello.

I’m David and I’ve been doing visual stuff since I was in school – drawing caricatures of students and painting a pretty mess with a deep message on a wall [with permission of course.]

Since then I’ve run my own business for 11 years, then worked for the delightful Hunter Bevan design and marketing agency for a further 11 years, and now I’m freelance. Maybe for 11 years as well, I just don’t know.

I like to design things for clarity and ease-of-use not just for the sake of looking pretty. Though simple things do tend to look pretty anyway – just think of *insert name of well-known dumb but attractive famous person here*

I am friendly and I don’t smell objectionable.

I will eventually post a lovely very classy black-and-white photo of myself here when I can get one. In the meantime you’ll need to use your imagination. I have variously been compared with Andrea Bocelli – the blind opera singer, one of the BeeGees [bit of a stretch that - may have actually been "two of the BeeGees"], a guy with curly hair from Eastenders [I don't know what this is as I only watch BBC Four and David Attenborough] and least convincingly, Jesus, though admittedly by a random bloke who was crapulous [see, I told you - BBC Four] at eleven in the morning.
